Alexandria School Board

I'm running because I believe strong schools build strong communities. I want our schools to be places where students know they belong and have every opportunity to thrive, where educators and staff feel supported, and where families are welcomed as partners.

I believe strong public schools strengthen all of Alexandria. They help our community grow, help families put down roots, and prepare the next generation to contribute with confidence and purpose.

My family and I are proud Cardinals. My husband and I are raising our three children in Alexandria. Two of them are old enough to attend our schools. Their different strengths and needs have shown me how deeply schools shape a child's confidence and sense of belonging.

Professionally, I lead a nonprofit organization that serves young people and families. As a local executive director, I work with a governing board, oversee a significant budget, support staff, and plan for long-term sustainability.

I have been happy to volunteer in classrooms and on the district Curriculum Committee as a proud Alexandria community member. I hope to be able to continue to serve this place we call home as an Alexandria School Board member.

I would bring my expertise in children and families, my passion for strong public schools and strong communities, and my dedication to see our students and community thrive to this role.
